Joined In Studio by Dan King with Harmon Solar as we talk Sustainable Homes!!

There's still a lot of confusion around Solar.....net metering....leasing vs. buying...is your roof able to handle it?

We sort out some of the factors to think about if you're considering saving with solar:

  • Roof orientation to the sun.
  • Age of the roof.
  • Structural analysis to verify your roof can support the solar panels.

*Dan & Rosie talk about the evolution of solar technology.

*Just because summer heat is winding down doesn't mean it's not time to go solar.

*Lease versus Buying Solar Equipment.

Segment 2 (running time 6:31)

  • Dan shares their new services to help with this more common occurrence in home buying. Monitoring systems are very useful.

Caller:

  • Mickey - She wants to know if it's okay to put panels on an out building on their property instead of the actual home.
