Tips for finding leaks:

Know your system and know what’s normal
Look for puddles
Make the yard as silent as possible to possibly hear the water

Recommendation: Take a section of the pipe to the sprinkler supply house to ensure you are switching out size for size. Romey also offers some helpful tips to keeping your irrigation lines under ground and preventing them from getting dug up.

What are the pro’s and con’s of gate vs ball valves?

Water Pressure Test
Anything over 80psi should be regulated

Recommendation: likely the diverter valve – responsible for changing the water flow over from the faucet to the side sprayer hose

Water Heater Safety:

Check and release your pressure release valve

WARNING! If that valve is leaking, DO NOT plug it
