An interesting discussion about Arizona water with Water Rights Attorney Rita Maguire.

Rita gives her background and talks about acquisition, management and utilization of surface and ground water.

A planned dam was scrapped because of a better storage system pumping water in the aquafers below the surface with no evaporation.

How the levels in Lake Mead affect water restrictions and drought conditions.
